Lesson 2
|
Welcome to our next lesson! Here
you will learn about all kinds of greetings and farewells.
"Hallo" in German is same thing as our "Hello"
To say goodbye to someone you can use "Tschüs!". It means
our "Bye!"
"Good Morning" can be said as "Guten Morgen" only before
noon.
If you meet someone in the evening you say "Good evening"
and in German - "Guten Abend".
"Servus!" - stands for "Hi!"
"Auf Wiedersehen" is used like our "Goodbye".
In the evening, when you go to bed, you surely say "Good
night". "Good night" means "Gute Nacht" in German.
"Bis gleich!" - "See you soon!"
"Mach's gut!" - "Take care!"
If you are going to meet that person again the same day,
you could say: "Bis später!" - "See you later!"
"Mir geht es ganz gut" - stands for "I feel pretty fine"
If you're feeling great this day, you can say "Mir geht
es prima" means I feel great.
If you're having a bad hair day (I hope you aren't!) you
may answer "Mir geht es schlecht" means I feel bad. "schlecht"
- means "bad"
